This is my 28th year of education. I have spent my entire career serving Topeka Public Schools at Williams, Jardine, and Scott Dual Language. I have spent the last 11 years as the Assistant Principal at Jardine. Most of my teaching experiences was in the elementary school with many years in the science labs at Williams. I have also taught Middle School Math, been a Curriculum Coordinator and an elementary AP. I have been married to my wife Jennifer for 35 years and am the proud father of two grown daughters, Ashley and Kelsey.

I am delighted to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the new assistant principal of Jardine Middle School! I am thrilled to be joining such a dedicated staff and community that make Jardine School a great place for students to learn and grow.

I've had an incredible 14-year journey in education, teaching at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. For the past couple of years, serving as the Dean of Students at Ross Elementary. I hold a Bachelor's in Education from Newman University, as well as a Master's in Educational Leadership from Kansas State University. I'm happily married to my husband, Kevin, and together we've built a beautiful family with our two children, Mauricio and Mikaela. In my free time, I enjoy watching sci-fi movies, rock climbing for an adrenaline rush, and practicing yoga to find balance.

I am a proud Topeka Public School product where I attended Bishop, Jardine, and Topeka West. I have spent the last several years working at my alma mater middle school, Jardine as the Administrative Assistant. I am a proud KU graduate and avid KU sports fan. I am married to my husband Adam and am the proud mother of two boys, Caden, who attends Topeka West and Collin who attends Jardine Middle School and step daughter, Rylynn. Rock Chalk!
